I broke up with a girl about 6 months ago, it was a pretty rough break-up but she just wasn't what I wanted at this point in my life. I had grown beyond what she could offer me, and she ended up being extremely immature. I've taken the last 6 months to myself to kind of rebuild/recharge and I'm ready to put myself back out there. I talked with a few girls during those 6 months but nothing too serious. But here's the kicker. A girl that I had become friends with let me know that she ran into my ex a couple days ago and my ex asked how this girl knew me, being that they had a mutual friend. The girl tells my ex that we went to the same high school and that we had exchanged numbers at a bar. Then, this girl tells me that my ex told her that she would probably kill the next girl that I talk to. Being that I'm from a small area, word of mouth spreads quickly, and it's noticeable that girls stay away from me. I'm an attractive, successful guy for my age, and I don't want to sound cocky but I'm funny and I had no problem talking to girls before. And the icing on the cake is that my ex is dating someone else, which I have no problems with at all and I wish her the best of luck. But I have no idea what to do to shake this. No girl wants a guy with a psycho ex, and with her and the way she is it's spread like wildfire. I don't want to say anything to her just because I don't want her to think she is in any way affecting my life, and if I do say something it's just an excuse for her to start a fight with me. Any ideas on how best to handle this? My first option is moving to Florida, which I wanted to do anyways, but with my current situation is a large improbability. Thanks in advance for the help!!!...
